Are you a mom struggling to make time for yourself while also trying to do all the things to keep everyone around you functioning, too?

I'm so happy you're here.

I understand the overwhelm, the to-do list a mile long and the wreckage that might be your house. I understand wanting to feel better in your body but not feeling like you have the time or that you even know where to begin.

I understand.

I know what it is like to feel isolated, unsupported and confused about how and when to move. But mama, you don't have to feel that way.

You are not alone.

You can fit in movement, while showing up completely for your family. You can have fun with your kids without stressing about if you're doing it right or if you're doing enough. You can find yourself again.

Let me show you how.

ARE YOU A TEACHER WHO WANTS TO LEARN HOW TO WORK WITH PREGNANT AND POSTPARTUM BODIES BETTER?

Mama Love Yoga Teacher Training is an online yoga teacher training program for yoga and movement teachers who want to expand upon their knowledge and increase their understanding and confidence in working with pregnant and postpartum bodies. In this training, you will learn:

  • Effective modifications and methodologies for working with pregnant women and moms in private and group yoga settings.

  • How to utilize a biopsychosocial approach in working with pregnant and postpartum people who may be dealing with pain or emotional distress.

  • How to be confident and understanding when working with pre and postnatal people (at any stage postpartum) who are experiencing pelvic pain and/or pelvic floor concerns.

  • How to teach a class based on the bodies in front of you.

Hey, I'm Lauren!

I'm a yoga teacher and personal trainer with a Master's in Exercise Science. Early in my first postpartum period, I realized how much misinformation and lack of support there is for mothers trying to heal and recuperate after having children, I took the plunge into specializing in perinatal health; loading up on certifications and continuing education- I even began my Postpartum Doula Certification.

My primary focus is teaching other teachers how perinatal health- from the pelvic floor to mental health- can impact their client's fitness and wellness.

As the mom of three boys under 8, I know how important it is to be active and feel agency in our bodies. I love to write, cook, decorate, and all things active. I love running in the snow, dancing in the kitchen, and pizza on Friday nights.
